Erik Zo interview in Cometbus #47, 1999

Erik Zo is a legendary figure in the bike messenger world. He's revered worldwide for his famous Zo Bags messenger bags, and probably best known in the SF Bay Area as a veteran messenger and influence on that community. I won't spend a lot of time explaining who he is--Buffalo Bill wrote a good thing about Erik back in 2008 (read it HERE).

Erik Zo was the guy who first encouraged me to build front racks, somewhere around 2004. We were at Cassidy’s bar talking about freight bikes and he completely schooled me on cargo bike history. The first front-loader cargo bike I ever saw was Erik's.

Cometbus was a popular 'zine written by Aaron Elliott, big influence on my life.

I've had this classic issue of Cometbus on my shelf for a long time. For those interested, here are page scans. Cheers, thanks always to Erik And Aaron!
