Erik Zo is a legendary figure in the bike messenger world. He's revered worldwide for his famous Zo Bags messenger bags, and probably best known in the SF Bay Area as a veteran messenger and influence on that community. Erik Zo was the guy who first encouraged me to build front racks, somewhere around 2004. We were at Cassidy’s bar talking about freight bikes and he completely schooled me on cargo bike history. The first front-loader cargo bike I ever saw was Erik's.
Cometbus was a popular 'zine written by Aaron Elliott, big influence on my life.
