I finished this CETMA cargo bike last week, another step toward clearing my backlog.
In February, I'll begin a new production system, working with a crew of builders to produce these bikes with me. The concept is rapid-fire Amish barn raising, Formula One pit stop crew, Thai philosophy (sanuk), and Lean Manufacturing.
The goal is a lean system to build bikes in one day with minimal effort. Future ideas involve a time-lapse birds-eye video for the customer to watch their bike being made, or a live-stream. I don't know.
